3. Create a Highlights Video
How MagicSports Technology Delivers Pure Sports Excitement
MagicSports incorporates sophisticated scene detection technology that works to create a timeline of the highlights of your recorded sports programs.
3.1 CyberLink MagicScene™ technology
CyberLink's advanced game detection technology identifies only the exciting highlights of recorded games. All other content is classified as being of little interest, including TV commercials and breaking news reports. This means you can watch all your highlights uninterrupted, without having to fast-forward through the content you don't want to see.
3.2 Fast and accurate video analysis
CyberLink's MagicScene technology processes video and audio signals to identify and separate game highlights from unexciting moments. MagicScene identifies the highlights of recorded sports programs with an accuracy of 95-98%.
The time it takes to analyze games, as a percentage of the original content, typically is:
15-20% of the duration of soccer games. A 2-hour soccer event can be analyzed in around 20 minutes.
8-10% of the duration of football games. A 3.5-hour football event can be analyzed within 20 minutes.
8-10% for baseball games. A baseball game can be analyzed in around 10 minutes.
6% for sumo wrestling events. A sumo game be analyzed in around 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, background analysis processes video files from your Recorded TV folder while you are doing other PC tasks. This ensures that you have even faster access to highlights when you want them.
3.3 Enhancing video quality
MagicSports includes technology for improving the image and audio quality of analyzed video. Two technologies handle this task: CyberLink Eagle Vision (CLEV) enhances video colors and balances contrast and brightness; CyberLink Noise Reduction (CLNR) removes unwanted noise. These effects can be applied when you create a video file of game highlights. You can access these features via settings.
